"When the time comes, the mayfly rises to the surface of the water, its small swollen body quivering, its back tearing: second birth... The hours of the graceful insect with the arched body are then counted. If the larva has been preparing for its aerial ballet for many months, the forces patiently accumulated will be exhausted in a few hours in a frenetic nuptial dance...".

The project is about the notion of transition, of a period of life that we have all experienced, or that may be yet to follow. We were inspired by "adolescence", this time of self-search, of quests for new experiences, of trials and failures. This bridge through which everyone passes but which is lived in so many different ways. During the performance, we will poetically stage this passage from one state to another, which is sometimes shaky and full of unexpected events.
