IM2 creates electronic music, while not turning away from its roots that go much deeper. moony & mr.i are children of punk, but also admit to such inspirations as Dead Can Dance, Cocteau Twins, but also to darker tones from the sign of the Bauhaus and Joy Division.
The first purely guitar band formed by mr.i was a combination of punk and hc with an everlasting love for Jane’s Addiction. The turn of the century has brought digital revolution, which allowed mr.i think in terms of “self - producer,” and bands like FSOL, The Orb, Orbital, Aphex Twin and The Prodigy, of course opened new spaces and horizons for him.
Under the nick of moony hides an multimedia artist. At the beginning of her artistic path was painting, and now the tools of creative work are mouse and graphics tablet. Graphics, animation, digital photography is a digitized world of moony, which mixes these concepts with inherited lightness.
