Breeze d' leaving

Breeze d' Leaving "El suspiro de un Adiós¨ is a Multimedia work developed between Harriet Payer Anderss( visuals) and Jorge Esquivelzeta ( sound/music ), it contains 27 digital images each one of them having it´s music or sound composition.

All these works have been created with own footage and sampling in photo, video and sound, and all of these materials are from the urban contemporary daily scene from Mexico mainly, so this project is made from scratch by Jaap, all of these works are created in the photomontage sort of style and most of them are printed in fine and alternate materials in silver-printing.The video is also tailored under the procedure of collage and with a surreal concept.The music is composed under polyrhythms, advanced sampling techniques, and modern synthesis, with a superb musician performance.

Breeze d´leaving is about the last cycle ( death or decay ) that everything and everyone on this universe or at least on this dimension suffers before a change, whether it is and ideology, fashion, relationship or existence, giving a forthcoming vacuum to what is new and fresh to be filled...in other words evolution and the capacity of adapting.

Breeze d' leaving deals more than anything with the psychological or mind reactions and points of view from the human psyche when this cycle is on.

 

Both three disciplines, music, video and photo are used as a means of interpretation form this Human psyche reaction or point of view on all the 27 works the performance has, not proposing any change or attitude towards this cycle, but the simple observation and contemplation of it, as a natural non-dramatic necessary change.

This work has been presented on the finest museums and galleries in Mexico City, has been in art biennales prime festivals in the world.
