Omen by José Venditti & Marta Verde
Omen a/v is an audiovisual performance by Marta Verde and José Venditti that brings José Venditti's studio album to live and exploring the idea of the Omen phenomenon, which in ancient cultures referred to the advent of change.

At a time when the global contextual reality puts on the table the idea of uncertain futures, Omen is a performance that aims to bring us closer to imagining other possible futures through sound and visual abstraction.

Marta and José work with the limits of melody and noise, harmony and tension, repetition and randomness, in an exercise in balance between composition and free improvisation.

Live, they have a set made up of modular, sound and video synthesizers, light, saxophone, percussive objects and digital processing.
