Réka Polena is a multidisciplinary artist and designer from Slovakia, known for her ability to fuse storytelling, technology, and sensory experiences. Her career began in illustration and web design, where she focused on creating accessible, story-driven works that connect with audiences on a deeper level. Driven by her fascination with 3D, animation, and coding, she earned a master’s degree in media design, expanding her practice into immersive media.
Réka’s lifelong passion for sound as a hobby musician naturally evolved into explorations in generative sound synthesis, allowing her to seamlessly integrate audio and visual elements into cohesive, interactive experiences. As a TouchDesigner artist, she has VJ-ed at Ozora Festival, created large-scale projection mapping shows at Serum Light Festival, and exhibited her interactive audiovisual installations across Central Europe. Her work bridges the digital and physical worlds, inviting viewers into dynamic, sensory-rich spaces that challenge perceptions and inspire reflection.
