Alberto Cossu
Sociologist and activist, Alberto Cossu is currently a post-doc researcher at the Department of Political and Social Studies at the University of Milan. His main research interests are the processes of cultural, organizational and economic innovation, which are between the social and production spheres. In this interdisciplinary framework he investigated the recent Italian artistic mobilization (2011-within the PhD), new forms of work (coworking and digital economy in Italy and Thailand), neo-rurality (Italy, within the RuralHub project) and commons-based communities for alternative finance (in Italy and France, within the P2PValue European Project) combining quality research techniques and digital methods applied to the big data. It is part of Macau, the "New Center for Art, Culture and Research" in Milan. He is co-founder of the blog "Cultural Work" and "PLANK", a network of artists, activists and academics based in London.
