Arianna Sciancalepore is a multimedia artist, filmmaker and photographer based in Rome. Her artistic research explores personal and collective transformation, focusing on the evolving relationship between consciousness, nature, technology and community.
With a background in documentary cinema, her practice now moves fluidly across immersive installations, machinima, virtual reality, performance and expanded A/V formats. She creates sensorial environments where sound, light and movement become tools for awareness, connection and the rediscovery of shared spiritual practices.
Arianna’s work is rooted in lived experience and often emerges from collective processes - whether on a sailboat crossing the Atlantic, inside a Nairobi slum, or through participatory installations and residencies. She sees art not just as expression, but as a relational act: a way to inhabit the world more consciously, build community and imagine alternative ways of being together.
She collaborates with interdisciplinary collectives that bridge psychedelia, rave culture, care and counter-narratives, and regularly organizes events and rituals exploring altered states, collective listening and embodied storytelling.
