Cristiano Leone
Cristiano Leone holds a Ph.D in Romance Philology (European Ph.D School in Romance Philology, University of Siena) and an Executive Master in Management (Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management).

He taught Linguistic and Philology at the “Université de Namur, Humanités e Histoire at Sciences Po Paris”, and Cultural Program at the “LUISS Guido Carli” University.

Currently, he teaches Art Direction and Performance Art at “Sciences Po Paris” and Performing Arts Management at the “Bocconi” University....

He taught Linguistic and Philology at the “Université de Namur, Humanités e Histoire at Sciences Po Paris”, and Cultural Program at the “LUISS Guido Carli” University.

Currently, he teaches Art Direction and Performance Art at “Sciences Po Paris” and Performing Arts Management at the “Bocconi” University.

However, his main field is the one of artistic direction, communication and cultural policies in general, all related to education. In fact, he was in charge of training at the “Sorbonne Universités” (2014-2016), and then responsible of cultural planning and communication at the “French Academy in Rome - Villa Medici” (2016-2019).

In 2019, he was the playwright of Euripides' “The Trojan Women” at the Greek Theater of Syracuse, Sicily. (directed by Muriel Mayette-Holtz and staged by Stefano Boeri).

He is the writer of two Latin books published for “Salerno Editrice” and for the “Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei”, author of world-famous philological articles and editor of several French Academy’s catalogs published by Electra.

He is also the creator and director of the Festival Ō at the National Roman Museum (Electa production) since its first edition in 2018, with the aim to promote a relation between contemporary creation and historical and artistic heritage.
