Stefano Mori, aka Elephant Kodex, is an Italian audio-visual artist based in Berlin. In 2005, he founded an audio-visual laboratory called Mostefprod and started an artistic collaboration with the visual synthesizer company Edirol - Roland Europe in order to explore the artistic possibilities of the CG8 sampler and synthesizer. Through audio-visual performances centered around the use of this machine, he participated in various Italian festivals . In 2009, he moved to Berlin to start a collaboration with the crew Visual...Stefano Mori, aka Elephant Kodex, is an Italian audio-visual artist based in Berlin. In 2009, he moved to Berlin to start a collaboration with the crew Visual Berlin and began working as a VJ and music producer in the city’s clubs and parties. In 2018, under the new name Elephant Kodex, he released an EP under the German label Fuchsklang, records which ranked among the top EPs on Beatport. In the same year, he embarked on his parallel project, Flatmaze, a fusion of Techno and Jazz music, with the Berlin-Milan Jazz- o-tech label. Two EPs, “Dick Dunker” and “GranCanaria,” were released, both featured on Bandcamp. They play in prestigious festivals such as JazzREfound and Xjazz and JazzMI. Since 2022, he has been a resident visual artist at the Berlin Planetarium for the Musical Sphere concert series.Elephant kodex new release is on 15th January for the label Meliodika rekords.
