The sixth VAX12 takes place at the Faculty of Fine Arts Universitaires de Barcelona, to underline the collaboration conducted by Telenoika during the year 2004/2005 with the Media Laboratory of the Faculty of Fine Arts.
Audio and video workshops are offered an example of the symbiosis between independent artists communities and institutions, for the dissemination of culture and knowledge such as universities.
The intention of the meeting is to let the VAX12 different artists create visual links and expand the creative network . Following this trend of cultural promotion, the program combine lectures and project presentations with live performances . The main theme of the VAX Fine Arts was the application of sensors to the creation of audiovisual and how artists use them as an expressive tool , or experiencing , being a very important part of their work.
During the festival the FLxER Team is invited to present a workshop about the software FLxER.
