PORTAMI VIA is an installation that wants to personify and centralize the use of bicycles in the city. At Fotonica, the spectator is invited to hold in his hands a dumbbell placed in front of a monitor to begin the change of scenario in front of him. The laziness to rely on the mechanical pedal of the car makes the city landscape unaltered; same deal, same traffic light to use the horn, same perspective ... but if the steering wheel replaced a handlebar ?! The bicycle takes you away, a shift to a greater contact with reality and freedom of movement.
The bicycle's perspective, therefore, is the protagonist of the installation and the handlebar is the engine that develops a growing force, capable of changing the visual field. The light element and the color games will be the fulcrum of the spectator's interactive action. For these reasons, we invite you to take the handlebar, to keep up and to use all your energy to color the environment around us.
