Tactile Video
The Tactile Video project generates its content using footage shot with two cameras. Utilising light boxes and rotating platforms, objects are manipulated live in reaction to the music. The resulting content is combined and enhanced with video mixers and live effects.
Tactile Video in a collaborative project between two artists; Lucy Nicholls (www.lucy-nicholls.co.uk) with a background in theatre and puppetry and visual artist Liam d'Authreau member of Blend Visuals (www.weareblend.co.uk)
The aim of the collaboration is to explore object manipulation and the creation of live visual content, allowing the work to be truly responsive to the music, organic and, of course, tactile.
