Digital ritual composed of Shipibo’s fractal patterns (Kené) and their relationship between the geometry of nature and ayahuasca rituals. The work was created on site with the Shipibo community of the Amazonia using field recordings, textiles, icaros (native chants), synthesizers, binaural sounds, magnified plant images, and computer-generated graphics. Making Kené is a traditionally feminine art. Women are the master teachers who decorate the objects around them, for which they are ritually prepared by girls. Women, unlike men, see their visions of others, materializing around them. “Dual” proposes to materialize those visions through the Digital ritual.
