Simon Schäfer is an interdisciplinary artist from Leipzig, Germany.
He studied Sculpture and Media Art at HfG Offenbach, holds an MA in sculpture from the Royal College of Art in London, and learned a lot about experimental electronics and circuit bending in the Internet.
His practice covers a wide range of expressions: objects and installations, music, performance, video, immersive experiences and theatre. Whatever feels necessary at any given time.
His performative alter ego der Warst uses his colourful homebuilt laboratory of telephones...
