Termoli transforms into a multimedia open-air museum with live performances and a video mapping installation on the facade of the Duomo.
The event comes from the squares of European cities and takes place in Termoli from July 1st to 3rd. The facade of the Termoli Cathedral will see the alternating 3D Video Mapping Sacred geometry by Darklight studio [BR / ES], Mapping gaming: The Pong by FLxER [IT], and Live Mapping also by FLXER.
Mapping gaming: The Pong by FLxER is an interactive video installation on the facade of the Borgo or the Cathedral where attendees, through a mobile phone, can intervene....Termoli transforms into a multimedia open-air museum with live performances and a video mapping installation on the facade of the Duomo.
The event comes from the squares of European cities and takes place in Termoli from July 1st to 3rd. The facade of the Termoli Cathedral will see the alternating 3D Video Mapping Sacred geometry by Darklight studio [BR / ES], Mapping gaming: The Pong by FLxER [IT], and Live Mapping also by FLXER.
Mapping gaming: The Pong by FLxER is an interactive video installation on the facade of the Borgo or the Cathedral where attendees, through a mobile phone, can intervene. The video game interacts with the mapped structure that can be a building or an indoor area. The second build of the game is pong where the audience can play with two smartphones or iPads connected.
The facade of the Duomo was mapped through a photographic study then shared with professionals from Barcelona (Darklight Studio) who worked on the images, creating the work "Sacred Geometry", unique in its kind, presented in Rio De Janeiro, Lima, and Barcelona. The artist who will perform has studied the place, surveyed it and then created the work that lasts 5 minutes. The facade of the Borgo of Termoli will be affected by light beams so there will be no negative impact.
The DJs and VJs of FLxER, the Roman artists present in Termoli, will perform a live mapping on the facade of the Duomo. This is the first event of its kind in this area that aims to enhance local heritage. The goal is to bring international innovations without neglecting local resources, which are very important.
Termoli Media Arts Festival is part of AVnode, a network of 70 organizations and thousands of artist members from 25 nations operating in the Audio Visual Arts sector, providing useful tools for organization and guaranteeing a virtuous strategy for sharing updates from partners and incredible visibility results worldwide, especially on social media and thanks to the 30,000 subscribers to the newsletter.
The event is produced by Flyer with the general direction of Gianluca Del Gobbo and the artistic direction of Luca Basilico and thanks to the support of the Municipality of Termoli.
