Carlo Gizzi is a guitarist and composer from Tivoli. He has performed in numerous concerts and recordings, exploring a wide range of styles from classical sounds to folk music. As a teacher and author of music methods and educational tools, he has always been committed to the research and development of alternative educational projects. He graduated in Guitar from the “Alfredo Casella” Conservatory in L’Aquila, after completing classical studies.
He has conducted training courses, led choirs and orchestras, and collaborated with institutions and municipalities in organizing festivals, seminars, and concerts. He has participated in various festivals, including the “Estrade” Festival (Lyon), the “Villa Adriana International Festival”, the “Vittorio Bodini” Prize (Lecce), the “Cusanino Baroque Festival” (Ancona), the “Teatri di Pietra” series (Rome), and “Tivoli Chiama” (Tivoli), among others. He has also pursued studies on the Kodály Method at the University of Esztergom in Hungary. Over the years, he has performed in more than 700 concerts.
