[Text available only in English] Marijn Scholte is a visual artist working in the field of video and photography. He graduated at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy [Amsterdam] at the Department of VAV, the autonomous new art direction. Previously he studied film directing at the school for film Septima ARS [Madrid].

Marijn’s observing and dwelling is reflected in its landscape video-installations. Besides this in his short films and photography ‘discomfort’ and ‘experiencing space / perspective’ are his main themes.
