"TRISIKON" is a concept for creating moving images of-and expanded cinema movement that combines three situations and conditions: footage documentation, animation, and live action.
This concept was initiated by Indonesian visual artist, Dr. Sito Fossy Biosa.
The Three Main Elements of Trisikon
• Footage Documentation: The use of archival recordings or past visual realities.
• Animation: Artistic moving elements that provide a space for imagination and symbols.
• Live Action: Acting scenes or real-life actions recorded directly.
Characteristics and Functions
• Blurring Boundaries: Dissolving the lines between factual recordings, live performances, and animation.
• Participatory Space: Transforming a film or visual piece into a space for the audience to share and co-create interpretations.
• Cultural Approach: Frequently utilized to explore cultural diversity through the dialectic between chaos and harmony.
