Atmosphere
In the Atmosphere project I use meteorological data for forecasting the weather. I’m based on a record of cloudiness from a specific place and time.

The surrounding "atmospheric landscape" is constantly changing. Elements of natural forces such as wave movements of water and air, buoyancy and planetary waves shaping the masses of water vapor in the atmosphere and affecting the formation and movement of clouds, often imperceptible and subtle changes of lights and shadows, build the ever-changing landscape, not only visual impressions, but also sound.

The Atmosphere project is based on meteorological processes. Weather is here as a medium connecting us with the natural world, through rain, wind, sunlight all our receptors are stimulated. The weather is a highly affective phenomenon that can evoke diverse emotional states from the sense of delight to horror through many minor sensations. The weather directly affects our lives by shaping our daily activities. The project is based on a set of meteorological data developed by scientists from the Institute of Physics at the University of Opole. The data describing the degree and type of cloud cover over Opole were used. The audiovisual performance tries to broaden our own perception of the surrounding weather conditions. The weather, or more precisely the record of cloudiness, occurs here as a medium for art.
