Bitnet Laptop Ensemble (Performance AV)

The "Bitnet Laptop Ensemble" (BLE) was born within the BitNet01 project, a community born around the eponymous experimental music festival held
to the Grizzly Fano Self-managed Space. The BLE is composed of 6 performers and 6 laptops. The purpose of this human-machine hybridization is to collectivize the means offered by modern computing power automation to generate a sonic canvas without boundaries on which to experiment, create and perform music and visual forms. Relating the individual to other individuals allows you to create an open network that leads to an unpredictable and evocative environment made up of many different sound and visual gestures that together create performance. Shapes, images, synthetic materials, noises, melodic and rhythmic gestures will alternate the scene to bring the listener to remote digital places. BLE mainly uses programming languages such as Max MSP, C-Sound, Touch Designer as the primary platform for synthesis / analysis of sound / video and software such as Ableton Live for live production.
