'data decay' uses scientific research data (from french CNRS research labs) to generate interactive audio and video. The stream of data is then transformed/decayed via custom data processing modules in order to deform and degrade the interactive audiovisual relationship, eventually making it 'un-interactive'.
The piece was premiered in the USA as an installation at SXSW interactive in Austin, and as a performance at Harvestworks in NYC in March 2010.
