Eartmerge

Eartmage is an audiovisual performance based on internet-based material that tries to reinterpret the perceived panorama of a place. We decided to use google earth in order to give birth a show that uses materials that deals with the same place where the performance is going on... What we're going to show is the live mash up of materials obtained trough the internet. Soundtrack live compositions will follow the same path.
Our aim is to reflect on the meanings of representation: how we can build new visions and points of view of an urban landscape that will be otherwise perceived by our senses and the large amount of images that affect us every day. In a way, we're trying to interpret what would be a "city symphony", nowadays.
