martin boverhof (machinka/born digital) is media artist and director in utrecht the netherlands working in the fields of visual programming, generative motiongraphics, music and performance. in 2008 martin co-founded the born digital label, producing digital media and events, exploring creative collaboration. besides developing (audio)visual performances and installations in the studio born digital organizes a yearly freemote festival. machinka is generative visuals plus ambient motion graphics. it is also an ongoing investigation finding balance between man & machine in the spirit of live visual performance.
