Magnetares
TIMPAHN is based on the fusion of some of my vague ideas that were in my head since some time and the possibility of converting them into a realizable project thanks to the capability of the interaction, available today due to the technological advances.

Through the interaction between the percussion instruments and the short videos, animations, smoke and light effects I try to isolate the public in a unique atmosphere creating an anguished environment at sometimes or a pleasant sensation at other times. I want them to experience the sensation that they are surrounded by different stimuli they receive from the symbiosis created between the images and the sounds, where none of the two is superior to the other.

I have been principally been performing as a drum player in various musical projects, where I did not feel very much satisfied with what I was doing. For that reason I decided to explore other territories unknown to me at that time- experimenting with new methods of expressing my ideas.

In this case, I want to create an environment with projection screens to surround the audience with 3D animations, named MAGNETARES. The full perform will be about the magnetic fields and the concepts arround the magnetar.
