Robots Against War
ROBOTS AGAINST WAR.

Sound Art Experience by Rudi Punzo.
Description

A/V performance for Musical Sculptures, Rhythm Robots, DIY and hacked and common use electronics, is a work-in-progress changing in accordance with circumstances and places.
The set is lightweight, collapsible and airborne: this year has been traveling between Boston, New York, Rome, Essen and Gangneung expressing a different voice each time and getting more and more its own personality, so to give the artist the impression to be only a conductor who directs and guides the various members of his ensemble.
Experience from experiri, to prove: that is, trying to coordinate the anarchist sounds emitted by rebels percussionists robots , unreliable oscillators and unlikely musical sculptures with the images created by shorted video sources randomly mingling.
In a word: IMPROVISATION.

Elements:
1) an electro acoustic set of musical sculptures

2) insectlike analogical photovoltaic ROBOTS
Dancing upon amplified surfaces these frenzy restless creatures endlessly beat their own inner rhythm, thus providing a random base to the live performance.

4) Common use electronics such as Loopers, pedals, hacked hardware, video camera, DVD player and photo camera.
