Organic, graphical and painterly and mainly abstract. Handmade feel, imperfect, bold and very colourful. L’Aubaine feels like a painter on a canvas, while creating live compositions for her VJ set. Her clips are mostly hand-drawn animations, simple shapes and paintings. She breaks the rectangular screen with mapped compositions and deforms the mesh. It's mainly 2D and often uses in her set an analogue video synth to create textures and lines.
