Islam Shabana is utilizing his Master Thesis, AV Waves, a developed platform that produces user-generated images via EEG brainwave data readings to generate and adjust images in real-time, while generating and being exposed to sound.
This project is an experimental trial to understand and express the nature of logical and sensual relationships between virtual reality and everyday existence. A synthesis of the artists' relation to the audio/ visual consciousness. Based solely on their surrounding digital observations of materialistic and non-materialistic existence through the digital sensors and/or live data feed.
