About

Water, leaves, electricity, lights and soundscapes enhanced by the incursions of the theremin, are the ingredients of this psychedelic visual and sound performance that relates science and art.
The performance includes a video scenography that interacts with the actions of a performer and live video images managed by a Pure Data patch and filtered by natural elements.

Performance:
a scientific experiment converts a human being into a tree in order to understand the secrets of human history held in the memory of the trees which, silent and motionless, are watching us from time immemorial.
The human being turned into a tree, after becoming aware of the history of humanity, chooses to abandon the human remains and to stay in the plant world through a cathartic journey.

Technique:
the conflict between Nature and human artifacts is the leitmotif of our artistic research. Our particular technique, that reflect this conflict, consists in passing the video signal through some leaves which create a "noise" in the images.
The processing technique that we apply LIVE to our video can be seen by following this link: http://vimeo.com/119639480.
