About

MICHAEL D. WYNN (UK) · (Electronics / AV / Experimental)

"anthemic" Huw Stephens (BBC Radio 1)

“dark electronica – put onstage in our BBC Introducing takeover slot – absolutely stole the show" Andrew Marston (BBC Hereford and Worcester Introducing)

Michael D. Wynn is a studio shaman based in deepest rural Herefordshire, UK, with a collection of old synthesizers, drum machines and samplers. His unique brand of experimental, dark electronics took him to Track Of The Week on BBC Radio 1 Introducing when Huw Stephens played an early demo on his show, following support from BBC Hereford and Worcester Introducing.

Michael is currently touring to support his upcoming LP, ‘jetlag’ (due out in late 2018) after performing at a number of prestigious venues across the UK and Europe to support his most recent LP, ‘frankland oscillations’, for which he created a bespoke audio-visual element, the blueprint for his live show.

Recent 2017-18 live performances include: w/ Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith @ The Lantern (Colston Hall), Bristol; BBC Hereford & Worcester Introducing: Live Session @ Worcester Music Festival; BBC Introducing @ Wychwood Festival, Gloucestershire; Prachtwerk, Berlin; Onze Bar, Paris; w/ Pretty Vicious and Fort Hope @ Gloucester Guildhall… (plus many more)…

"I like it!... on my radar" Matthew Whitehouse (i-D)

“emerging electronica, colourful, highly original" Colston Hall, Bristol

"both dark and catchy, a must-see for all fans of electronica" Wychwood Festival, Gloucestershire
